This recertification assessment is intended to re-affirm the Grinding Operatives competence relevant to duties of a grinding operative. This event will brief delegates on changes or amendments within standards relating to grinding operative.Duration

• NR/SP/TRK/0056
• Re-affirm the competence to undertake the duties of a Grinding Operative
Pre Requisite Requirements
The following pre-requisites are required:• The delegates MUST hold a valid Grinding Operative certificate.
PPE Requirements
This course requires the delegate to be on or near the running line and therefore, they MUST be in possession of:-• Valid P. T. S. Card
• High Visibility Flame Retardant Coverall to EN531, EN470 and GO/RT3279
• Safety Footwear to BS EN ISO 15090:2006 H13 C1 AN-F2A-PPE 3aCAT
• Safety Helmet (white/blue) to BS EN 397:1995
• Anti-Vibration Gloves
• Safety Glasses BS EN 166 and of Optical Class 1 with Impact Resistance B
• Abrasive wheels in accordance with PUWER Regulations (1998)
• Manual Handling
• Dust Mask BS EN149 or M3 Air- fed Respirator Safety Mask
